Custom Software

Custom software that fits your workflow exactly.

Where off-the-shelf solutions fall short, we build custom software that fits your workflow exactly.

  • Functions that fit your processes exactly
  • Simple use, free of unnecessary complexity
  • No per-user licence fee — cost does not rise as the team grows

The Problem

Most businesses are not really run by software but by Excel files passed around over WhatsApp. Three versions of the same file circulate, nobody is sure which one is current, and the whole system lives in one person’s head — when that person takes leave, work stops. Moving to off-the-shelf software does not always solve it either: much of it is written for another country’s tax and invoicing rules, full of fields that mean nothing in Iraq, with an English-only interface and a per-user licence fee that grows as the team grows.

Our Solution

We start from your actual workflow rather than a demo: we watch on site how the work runs today and sort out together which steps are genuinely needed. Then we build only what will be used — every unused screen is a burden whose maintenance you pay for forever. We begin with the single process that hurts most and expand once it has proven itself; we do not propose two-year mega projects. The interface can be Turkish, Arabic, Kurdish or English; your data sits in your own database and export is always available.

How Pricing Is Determined

For custom software the price grows with the number of processes and the variety of user roles. A tool solving one job differs from a system linking several departments.

What affects the price

  • Number of processes and departments covered
  • Variety of user roles and permissions
  • Volume and tidiness of the existing data to migrate

The needs analysis and quotation are free; we do not quote a price before the scope is clear.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the process work?
We start with a discovery meeting and clarify the scope and proposal. Then we develop step by step and share progress with you regularly — at every stage you see a working piece rather than waiting for one big delivery at the end. If a requirement has been misunderstood, it surfaces within weeks instead of months.
Isn’t buying a ready-made program cheaper?
On day one, usually yes. The decision should rest on three things: where the licence cost goes as your user count grows, how much the ready-made program will force you into its own way of working, and whether your processes are genuinely distinctive. If your need is standard we will recommend the off-the-shelf option — we will tell you that honestly. Custom software earns its place at the point where the ready-made program starts bending you.
How long does it take and what drives the cost?
Scope drives both: how many users, how many distinct roles, how many integrations and how much data has to be migrated. The number of screens is a poor measure; the real weight comes from the complexity of the rules and the connections to outside systems. We do not give a date or a figure before the scope is clear — one given earlier would not hold. After discovery we present a clear proposal broken into stages.
Can our existing Excel files be migrated?
Usually yes, but not as-is. Data that has piled up in Excel over the years tends to hold the same customer three times under different spellings, along with blank rows and manual corrections. Before migration we clean the data, merge duplicates and hand you a checklist so you can see and approve how each record was carried over. Skip this step and the new system starts with bad data on day one.
Who will teach our team to use it?
We do. At handover we train your team on site and leave a short guide covering the most frequent tasks. We also involve the people who will use the system daily during development; a team that uses a screen it helped shape adopts it far faster than one handed a finished screen.
Who owns the software?
We clearly define the usage rights and transfer of the custom software we develop during the discussion stage. Your data is yours under all circumstances and export is always available; the transfer of the source code is set out in writing in the contract. We prefer to settle this at the start, because when it is raised later it is the single biggest source of friction between the parties.
If we stop working with you, does the system keep running?
Yes, and we treat that as a design requirement. We build on widely used technologies and hand over the code and setup documentation so another developer can take it on. We do not think anyone should be held by dependency — a client should stay because the work goes well, not because the exit is blocked.
