Teksüt, the white shoe milk and milk products firm in Turkey, was established in 1956 in Gönen, Balıkesir. The company started off with white cheese production in local scale when first established but expanded its facilities and product varieties in the process, and today continues its production in a modern factory, again in Gönen, established on an area of 80,000 square meters in total, 27,000 square meters of which consist of closed spaces.
Offers wide product range
Teksüt’s journey into milk and milk products started of with white cheese and continues with UHT milk, yellow cheese, cream cheese, butter, spreadable white cheese, cottage cheese, mild cream cheese, clotted cream, yogurt and ayran along with production of local cheeses such as Mihaliç, Çeçil, Dil, Çerkez, Otlu, Urfa, Örgü, Üçgen, Misket, Çubuk. Processing 550 tons of milk daily, Teksüt produces and distributes its products in a reliable, hygienic and healthy way in accordance with world standards, using the newest technologies in the milk industry.
Local contribution to quality
Teksüt processes milk coming from approx. 10 thousand suppliers and attaches great importance to Gönen county where it was established and its facilities are located. Gönen is one of the counties where dairy farming is done at its best. In addition, local people are very experienced in producing high-quality milk. Thus, Teksüt prefers to procure milk mainly from villages and farms around Gönen.
Among the biggests in Turkey
Continuing to grow gradually, Teksüt is ranked #404 in ISO 500 list of Istanbul Chamber of Industry showing the largest corporations in Turkey. In addition, Teksüt is also listed in the top 10 among dairy product companies.
Food safety is a priority
Today, 420 employees work in Teksüt factory. The personnel has been continuously receiving trainings on hygiene and food safety from academicians and experts for 10 years. Operating with an approach of high-quality, food safety, respect for the environment and nature, investment in people, Teksüt continues its production according to management systems and certificates such as ISO9001 Quality Management System, FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System, BRC Food and Halal Food.
